Campbell High School

Jessica Rau, one of our fine Campbell High School juniors, took the 2009 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) in October 2009 and her test results met requirements to enter the 2011 National Merit Scholarship Program. As a result of the testing, Jessica earned a Selection Index score above 201 and therefore was selected as one of the 50,000 highest –scoring participants of some 1.5 million entrants. Of these 50,000 students qualifying, about 16,000 will eventually be selected and named National Merit Program Semifinalists, representing the top scorers in each state, and approximately 34,000 other high scorers will be commended for their performance on the PSAT?NMSQT. Semifinalists and Commended Students in the 2011 program will learn of their standing in September! Congratulations to Jessica on this initial outstanding accomplishment!!
