Campbell High School

Students in Mr. Mower, Mr. Orban and Mrs. Freemans class took full advantage of an extended learning opportunity to Benson Park in Hudson, NH. Students researched, collaborated, built, designed, photographed and installed the “bat project”. The “bat project” consisted of research different species of bats, the construction of types of bat houses and the proper location and installation of their homes. The “bat project” was collaborated with the Town of Hudson’s Bat Committee for final approval. The students and staff took a learning opportunity beyond the classroom in into the community. The Benson Park now has additional homes for a population of 800 bats with their ten new homes.
