Inaugural Bass Fishing Competition
The NHIAA sponsored an inaugural bass fishing competition on Thursday May 9th. Held on Lake Winnipesaukee, the event was used as an exhibition to determine the interest level in adding bass fishing as a varsity sport in the future. The response was overwhelming statewide and had to be limited to fifty-four boats representing forty-three schools. Campbell High School was well represented by Connor Perry, Nick Gagne, Dylan Brochi and Michael Douglas.
Fund Raisers for Non-Profit Organizations!
Campbell Athletic Leaders are selling t-shirts outside of the café. These t-shirts support New Hampshire Special Olympics and say Spread the Word to End the Word. Students with mental disabilities are frequently offended by off-hand remarks using the word "retard". Campbell High School is supporting the Special Olympics campaign with the sale of this t-shirt for $10.
Additional non-profit fundraising includes Lexi Scafidi's senior project supporting To Write Love On Her Arms, Lexi is also outside the café.
Aly O'Donnell is selling t-shirts for “Aly’s Cancer Walk”, as part of her senior project. T-shirts are $10 and will be available for purchase on Senior Project night.
Angela Valenti is raising funds for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. Brenden O'Brien is raising funds for the Relay for Life and Team Donaghey. Please be sure to help if you can as they are doing important work.
We have some amazing students at Campbell!
