Johns Hopkins University Award for Briggs
Jeffrey Briggs took part in an awards ceremony on Sunday May 19th, at Blackman Auditorium at Northeastern University, that honored nearly 350 students from around the New England states; who had taken part in academic testing through Johns Hopkins University's Center For Talented Youth. Several thousands of seventh and eighth grade CTY students in the New England area took either the SCAT, SAT, ACT, or Spatial Reasoning exams, or perhaps a multiple selection of these tests during the 2012 and 2013 years; but, only these few hundred scored high honor grades in one or more of these exams within the same regional area. Jeffrey received his award for his accomplishments on the ACT for Math in 2012.
